There are volcanoes as small as 1,650 meters above sea level (Chicabal) that you can hike in one day and on the other hand you have the biggest volcano in central america that goes up to 4,220 above sea level (Tajumulco) that will require a good physical condition to make it to the top.

This goes in hand with your endurance, because the volcano might require you to stay one night. But also if you want to enjoy the beauties of sunrise and sunsets.
